Krebs CycloStack®

The Krebs Sand Stacking Cyclone is the combination of the Krebs Cyclone with a CycloStack® attachment and overflow pipe/siphon control assembly. The Krebs CycloStack® is designed for use in solids dewatering applications, and can be attached to the bottom of a standard Krebs Cyclone to minimize the moisture content in the hydrocyclone underflow. The attachment provides for a low cost way of automatically controlling the dewatering and discharge concentration of the hydrocyclone underflow, allowing direct discharge of the underflow onto a conveyor belt or in a pile. This occurs even with fluctuating feed conditions.

Features & Benefits:

CycloStack®

The Krebs CycloStack® units are reliable, easily installed, and operate automatically. The CycloStack® consists of a urethane flap which opens when solids are present and allows the solids to discharge while retaining water in the hydrocyclone. The CycloStack® closes if there are no solids present. The CycloStack® improves the hydrocyclone efficiency by constantly adjusting the apex diameter which virtually eliminates plugging and consequently allows attention-free operation.

Aggregate Industry

Used alone or in combination with screens, screw classifiers, hydro-separators, or gravity settlers to classify and separate a wide variety of sand and gravel products.

Industrial Mineral

Used in combination with the Krebs CycloWash® to wash and thicken both end products and tailings.

Closed Circuit Grinding

Used on hydrocyclones in regrind mills to maintain consistent underflow density and maintain mill density due to feed fluctuations.
